Joy was born and raised in Bristol, and is a lifelong resident of the Tri- Cities area having lived in Johnson City for the last 30 years. After attending East Tennessee State University with a focus on Finance and Accounting, Joy now has 30+ years of experience in the industry and was named the “Best Financial Planner” in 2013-2019 by the Kingsport Readers Choice Awards. Joy loves building relationships with her clients and making sure that they are up to date and well prepared for the future. She has been married to her husband Scott for 35 years. They have two children Savannah and Grayson. They are very active as a family, they love to travel and do lots of hiking. She also has two dogs Chloe, Shelby and a cat named Gordon.
